We were all really happy when she won and it would be nice to keep politics out of sport. Bizarrely, I found myself rooting for the North Koreans at the Olympics. They looked so serious and polite and you sort of felt, that if they won gold, they would get a fridge or something.
Being in the UK ay the moment, I have to say the attempt at equivalence is wholly misplaced. A few white supremacists looking for a punch up and attacking mosques is nothing like what is happening in HK.
