    Yes, the Boys in Beijing must have groaned out loud at that one – did Gadders actually say that in his speech – this is the only reference I’ve seen – that in the SCMP?

    @Gerald Simmonds – The BBC, The Sun, and The Telegraph all reported the same thing.

    Meanwhile The UNSC (of which China is a permanent member) has just issued a statement in which they “. . . condemned the violence and use of force against civilians, deplored the repression against peaceful demonstrators, and expressed deep regret at the deaths of hundreds of civilians.”
