World’s most famous Hongkonger in headlines again

Determined to work more on youth development in Hong Kong, the Chinese Communist Party has enlisted Joshua Wong to play a key role in boosting the nation’s international ‘soft power’ charm offensive, promoting the reputation of the city’s legal system, and encouraging voter turnout in the forthcoming legislative by-elections.

  1. Get off it , Buster!

Joshua Wong is a charmless short-sighted masturbating pubescent and that physical makeup is mirrored in his public actions.

He should be sent to the Sea School here in Stanley.

But I can’t guarantee he won’t be bullied by the college cat.

More than anything I feel sorry for the GCHQ CIA MI6 brigade and you.

Having Joshua as your standard bearer and hope for future agitation and control is ribald at best, tragic at worst.

He just isn’t up to it.

    How happy Peking must be.

He makes Martin Lee look like Che Guevara.

    Pip, pip!

  2. LRE says:

    From the SCMP link:
Lam said: “I hope we can nurture each of our young people and develop in them a sense of national identity, a love for Hong Kong, an international perspective, as well as a commitment to society.”

Perhaps she should try that initiative out at home*, given her two kids are British nationals and neither lives in Hong Kong (one works at Xiaomi — a possible reason behind CY Lam’s U-turn on retirement: “I see your eldest lives in Beijing. It can be a dangerous city for a young man, Mrs Lam, or a profitable one. Now, about this CE job…”).

Score one for the international perspective, epic fail on national identity, love of Hong Kong and commitment to society.

    *which is ironically enough, abroad.

Although I must confess my inner child eagerly awaits the headline: “Beijing’s Wang to fill Hong Kong youth with deep love of China”

Joshua Wong, Alex Chow and Nathan Law all have excellent leadership potential. J.G. Uevera above is obviously an elderly windbag and asshat.

  4. Chinese Netizen says:

“Joshua Wong is a charmless short-sighted masturbating pubescent and that physical makeup is mirrored in his public actions.”

Said the pot to the kettle…

  5. B says:

No such thing as bad publicity, eh?

“Beijing’s Wang to fill Hong Kong youth with deep love of China”

He’s a wingbag, asshat, and a massive loser who is out of touch with reality
